Who am I?
Hello! I’m Jackie Wum, a semi-retired Singaporean on a mission to mentor and transform lives. Here’s my story.
For over two decades, I worked as a school teacher and private tutor. My students won many accolades and were reaching stardom status, but I was never fully satisfied. I worked and tried harder in my career only to realise I was almost burning out.
A mid-life crisis was brewing in me.
I realised I didn’t want to be building someone else’s dreams anymore. It was time to work on mine. Fortunately, I met my Life Mentor who offered me a stint as a Director of a leading MNC based overseas. Being close to the top leadership widened my perspective and understanding of how true business works. This opportunity transformed me.
I moved on diving into the wonderful world of being an Entrepreneur and ventured into uncharted waters as far as the United States, Canada and China. That’s also when I met my wife and started helping her business out in China too. The rich experience I’ve had over the years eventually opened up more business opportunities, in which I started introducing to my network. While doing so, I realised what I found most fulfilling:
Mentoring and Transforming Lives.
What I do?
I mentor struggling employees facing mid-life crisis and individuals planning for retirement in generating another stream of income through leveraging on business models and networks.
My years of experience and exposure allowed me to put together a formula that has successfully helped my mentees even during the pandemic. My mentees call me the CAPE - Connector, Advisor, Partner and Expert.

I owe my success to him, my Life Mentor. His business' operations span the entire value chain across two-third of the globe. Being close to the top leadership widened my perspective and understanding of how business should be done. This experience totally transformed me.
Subsequently, I embarked on my entrepreneurship journey. It was a total disaster. I tripped and fell miserably. My first startup was a mobile app development which I envisioned to disrupt the education market, but it didn't take off. Fortunately, I was able to reset my mind and start all over again, with the help of my Life Mentor!
While helping out with my wife's business in China, I realised what I found most fulfilling - mentoring fellow Singaporeans like what I used to do as a teacher. My personal journey is testament that how having a Life Mentor could have a significant impact. I am proud to say that many of my mentees have achieved successes and are now my personal friends.
